About Amanda Znutas

Amanda Znutas currently works on a Child Study Team as a certified Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C). As a LDT-C  and educational specialist, Amanda continuously collaborates with essential parties, assesses both students and programs, facilitates communication, and orchestrates creative plans to help students attain their individualized goals. As a professional in Special Education, Amanda values communication, creativity, and an organized forward-thinking approach to programming.

Amanda has also had teaching experience in a variety of grade levels between kindergarten and 5th grade.  To date, her overall career has allowed her to explore and expand upon her knowledge of education from preschool through young adulthood (including transition into adulthood). Although her role has evolved, her goal within the educational field remains the same as when she started her career. She strives to help schools create environments that allow students the ability to understand their strengths, utilize strategies to help with areas of weakness, develop interests, enhance character, increase their self-worth and happiness, and provide them with the proper tools to set them on a path where they can later contribute to our society to the best of their ability.

Since the establishment of My A2Z Tutoring, Amanda has tutored a variety of students between Pre-k through 8th grade. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, and determination to create a positive rapport with each child has provided academic success for every student she has worked with. Given the increased need for tutoring services, Amanda has gathered a professional, knowledgeable, and passionate team of tutors to serve children in a variety of content areas and grades.  My A2Z Tutoring currently has qualified teachers in the following areas: Elementary Education (all content areas), Middle School Mathematics, Middle School Reading/Language Arts, High School Mathematics, High School Reading/Language Arts, Italian, French, Spanish, and SAT tutoring for Reading/Writing.

Amanda graduated from Montclair State University with a concentration in Elementary Education and currently holds a Standard Elementary Teaching Certificate. She received her M.Ed. in Special Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilities from William Paterson University. Following, she received her Supervisory Certification from William Paterson University and a certificate in Technology from the University of San Diego Extension.
